ABSU agrees to partner with ACCIMA for a Business School: The former Vice-Chancellor, Professor E. Uche Ikonne, has announced that the University was to partner with ACCIMA, to establish a Business School.
Meanwhile, Professor Ikonne disclosed this during a courtesy visit by ACCIMA Executives at the conference room of the University.
Further, the VC appreciated the team on behalf of the Management and the Senate for the proposal, emphasizing the need to narrow the gap between Industry and the classroom.
Also, he called for the establishment of an Aba Stock Exchange, which will raise the level of enterprise in the commercial city.
Furthermore, the then President of ACCIMA, Rtn, Andy Obasi asked for collaboration and assistance of the University in the establishment of a Business School which will help grow businesses in the City.
Then, in a vote of thanks, Mr. Emma Nwakpadolu, the Patron and Past President of ACCIMA expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and management and asked for God’s protection on their behalf.

The Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in Nigeria is situated in the City of Aba, in Abia State.
