Programs in Dangote Business School

Dangote Business School is a ‘one-stop-shop for your business and entrepreneurship education.

The School offers a wide range of courses specifically designed for young and aspiring graduates, professionals and technocrats; captains of industry.

Business entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs; consultants and educators, and other public service operators who are highly motivated to change the world are also raised.

Industrial tours, international exposure, internships, mentorship are critical components of the programmes to augment the formal training with experiential learning.

Its postgraduate programmes are run on a full-time and part-time basis. Depending on the interest and eligibility, applicants can apply to be enrolled in any of the following programmes:

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

This programme is designed to provide individuals from all fields and professions the opportunity to gain management skills and knowledge for career advancement.

The programme is suitable for graduates who have got university degrees and/or certificates from both management and non-management fields.

It is a two-semester programme offered on a full-time and part-time basis.

Admission Requirements

Below are the requirements for Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.

Postgraduate Diploma In Management (PGDM)

i. Candidates for admission into PGDM shall possess a Degree in any discipline from any recognized university, or

ii. HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit got from recognized institutions.

iii. Five-O Level Credits including Mathematics and English.

iv. The candidate is also required to have at least one year of post-graduation experience.

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD.Ent.)

This programme is designed to serve as a remedial or initial training platform for those who wish to gain graduate degrees in entrepreneurship.

Specifically, the Programme is designed to develop students’ intellectual capacity to appreciate entrepreneurial ideas, ventures, processes, and systems.

By the end of the course, students could analyze opportunities, develop and implement business plans in order to get their ventures started.

This course is also designed to increase access to entrepreneurship education as all graduates of universities.

HND holders and members of professional associations from recognized institutions would be eligible to join the programme. PGD. Ent is a two-semester programme offered on a full-time and part-time basis.

Admission Requirements

Below are the requirements for Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship

Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD-Ent)

➛ A candidate must have obtained BSc or HND; or➛ Have accredited professional qualifications, such as ICAN, ANAN, etc from a recognized institution and must have possessed Five-O Level Credits including Mathematics and English.

➛ The candidate is also required to have at least one-year post-graduation experience

3. Masters in Entrepreneurship (M.Ent):

This programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to achieve entrepreneurial success in a variety of settings.

The M.Ent programme emphasizes developing the individual advanced level intellectual capacity to appreciate and realize the opportunity.

You can assess risk and apply the skills necessary to transform innovative ideas into viable and sustainable ventures.

Equally, the programme is intended to be the foundation for advanced studies in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. The programme is offered on a full time (two semesters) and part-time basis (four semesters).

Admission Requirements

➛ Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Regular) should have:

➛ A minimum of a good Second Class degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, or any related discipline from any recognized university; or

➛ A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD-Ent) with a minimum of Merit from any recognized university.

➛ A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognized University.

➛ Five-O Level Credits including Mathematics and English.

➛ Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Special) should have a minimum of a good Second Class degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
