The Bayero University Kano (BUK) administration has enabled the BUK portal for students. This is true for students enrolled in its Post UTME, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Direct Entry, Remedial, JUPEB, Part-Time, and Full-Time Degree programs.

Also, the BUK Student portal is created for newly admitted (freshers) and returning students of the University. And it is to create an account or log in to perform certain academic actions at ease.

University Kano (BUK)

This is a university in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. And it was founded in 1975 when it was renamed from Bayero University College and upgraded from University College to university. Also, it is the first university in Kano State.

Furthermore, it initially bore the name Ahmadu Bello College. And the college was named after the Premier of Northern Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello.

Also, it was founded in January 1960 by the Northern Nigeria Ministry of Education headed by Isa Kaita.

However, upon the establishment of Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State, Ahmadu Bello College was renamed Abdullahi Bayero College, after Abdullahi Bayero, Emir of Kano.

And soon thereafter it became a faculty of the new university.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Screening

To apply, follow the steps below:

1. Go to BUK 2024/2025 Post UTME registration portal.

2. Login using your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate (total score). And then upload your passport-sized photograph.

However, note that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay at Bayero University, Kano

3. Fill in the Applicants’ details Form.

4. Furthermore, ensure to upload your O’level results on the JAMB website

5. Print your personalised RRR payment invoice to make the payment of N2,000.00 at any commercial bank nationwide via the Remita platform.

6. Additionally, after making the payment, return to the website, Login again. Your payment will be validated. And after which you can print your personalised acknowledgement slip.

7. Preview and confirm your information before printing your acknowledgement slip.

Note that applicants cannot print their acknowledgement slip until payment is processed and verified. The closing date is 2nd October 2022.

Note that the schedule (Venue and Time) of the BUK Aptitude Test will be communicated to you using the phone number and/or e-mail address (used in JAMB registration) you supplied in your profile update.
