Some years back the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) formally known as ANSU school fees was one of the cheapest school fees you can ever think of. The institution maintain the cheapest school fees among universities not only in South East but in Nigeria as a whole.
As far back as 2007 to 2008 the then Anambra state university of science and technology Uli school fees hovers around 13,000 before it was later increased to 26,000 and 31,000 per season respectively. Please note that a session comprises of 2 semester.
As at today with the inflation biting hard on the average Nigerians, incessant ASUU strike and the government not able to meet up with the day to day expenses needed to efficiently run the institution which is largely due to the fall in the prices of oil in the international market the state government has no choice rather than to pass the administrative cost on the student.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) acceptance fee remains non refundable and should only be paid by freshers.
COOU Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure
- http://portal.coou.edu.ng visit the website.
- Locate Confirm Admission Status which you can find under the Undergraduate panel
- Its now left to you to generate your invoice of 1500 and either choose to pay via Remita, there are list of banks that you can pay to via Remita, if you still have ATM you can pay online.
- Retune to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) portal and click on “Verify Account” to be able to get a login details.
- You only need to generate an invoice for the 26,315 for acceptance fee, make the payment. That’s all.
