The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has released the cut-off mark for the 2020/2021 academic session
There are certain criteria to be observed by students before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any university. One of these which include meeting the required cut off mark for each schools’ as well as the courses itself.
It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required cut off mark for admission into a particular course.

Registration Procedure for Admission into ESUT
If you have been granted admission, here is everything you need to do next.
- Check the acceptance fee amount and proceed to pay it
- Check the school fees for your course and get it ready for payment. Payment is usually after acceptance fees have been paid.
- Prepare your documents and get ready for registration and clearance
- Read up on the school’s rules and regulations including the Code of Conduct and do not violate it.
How to Check ESUT Admission List
To check your admission status on the ESUT admission list, you should follow the procedure below:
- Login to portal.esut.edu.ng/Modules
- Input your Utme registration number where provided
- Click the submit button
- Your admission status will pop up on the screen.
Check Your Admission Status Online on the Jamb Portal
You will also need to check your Jamb CAPS or Portal so that you can accept the admission if you have been given. If you do not accept, you will be considered as having rejected the admission. To express your acceptance, you must follow the procedure below:
- Login to the Jamb website
- Click on CAPS
- Your admission status will pop up on the screen
- Navigate to and click on the accept or reject button
ESUT Hostel Accommodation for UTME Students
ESUT has hostel accommodation for new students in the Agbani campus of the University. Agbani town also has several private hostels and accommodations available. Preference is given to new students during the hostel allocation exercise.
ESUT Hostel Accommodation for Pre-degree Students
The ESUT Pre-Degree program has hostel accommodation for students in the Nsukka campus of the University. Your accommodation will be allocated to you during the registration if you choose the Hostel Accommodation option.
ESUT Cut off Mark
The required cut-off mark for ESUT is 160, except for Faculties of Medicine, Law and Pharmaceutical Sciences which is 200.
ESUT Nature of Admission Screening
The Enugu State University of Science and Technology holds her admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and it usually comes in two phases. Students who applied to study in the school are to proceed with the pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.
Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are SSCE result and JAMB registration printout only.
It is often important that a candidate arrive early and locate his/her screening venue early. Candidates will be screen on the JAMB scores and their SSCE results.
The second phase of the screening is after the admission lists might have been released. Candidates who have merited admission will be invited for another screening exercise. Here all documents such as;
- Original copies of their educational qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
N/B: Cases of awaiting results will NOT be accepted. - Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
- A letter of good conduct from your Village Head or a responsible member of your community/or
civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector. - Certificate of Local Government of origin; and this notification of admission status
slip.
