About JAMB Eligibility Checker

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker will help both UTME and Direct Entry Students to determine their various chances of gaining admission into their institution of choice.

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker works in a way that candidates will be required to provide or choose their Exam Mode, Institution, Programmes which they wish to study.

Other information needed is O’ Level for UTME and A’ Level Scores for Direct Entry Students, UTME Subjects Combinations.

Candidates can equally log on to the system, state their requirements and the system will come up with a list of institutions such candidates are qualified to be admitted.

Furthermore…

This will help candidates to easily know the right institutions they need to apply to or change to if need be.

Candidate should use this system to check either they are qualified for the course or not. Before you do any change of course, kindly check course eligibility before you proceed.

How to Check if You are Eligible for Your Course of Study

Follow the steps below to check your course on the eligibility checker portal.

1. Kindly log on to the JAMB Course Eligibility Checker Portal via https://eligibility.jamb.gov.ng/checker/

2. Select Mode of Entry – Candidates selects either UTME or Direct Entry.

3. Pick Institution Type – Degree Awarding Institution, NCE, ND, NID

4. Choose a Category > preferred Institution > Select course of study.

5. Enter your A’Level/O’level Results 

6. Select Your UTME/DE Subject Combination. 

7. Finally, click on the “Check Programme Eligibility” to Check JAMB Eligibility.
