The legal basis of the University is the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Act which transferred to the University, the property to the former Ogbomoso Girls High School, Ogbomoso, under the Act.

How to Check LAUTECH Admission List

  • Go to the LAUTECH admission status checking portal https://www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng/status.php.
  • Supply your JAMB Registration Number in the required column.
  • Finally, click on ‘Check’ to access your admission status.

Successfully admitted candidates are to proceed to the LAUTECH website to download their admission letters in the color printout. They are also advised to go to the JAMB portal to ACCEPT their admission.

How to Accept LAUTECH Admission on JAMB CAPS

  • Go to http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard
  • Once you have logged in you will see a welcome notice just move down on the page you will see “Check 2019 UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS”.
  • Click on this “Check 2023 UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS” and you will be redirected to the JAMB CAPS portal.
  • After clicking on “Check 2023 UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS”, you will see a page showing your JAMB details and your JAMB admission status.
  • If you have been given admission, you can now go ahead to accept or reject the admission.

How to Apply for LAUTECH Direct Entry

  • proceed to log on to the university’s website www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira(N2,000 .00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening and result checking, using inter-switch enabled debit cards (ATM).
  • Carefully complete and submit online the application form;
  • Upload a digital copy of scanned passport photograph with white background not more than 20kb which must be in JPEG (i.e. jpg) with no eyeglasses or veil and
  • Print out the acknowledgment page to ascertain successful registration.
