The body in charge of the school: The Council of Legal Education had overseen the conduct of the examination in August 2020 and the results were due on the third (3rd) of July 2021 as announced by the body.

Candidates’ Performance Statistics 

According to the statistics indicating the participants’ performance in the examination, the total number of participants was five thousand eight hundred and forty-six (5846).

Of this number, those who have succeeded are four thousand six hundred and thirty-three (4633) constituting 79.25% of the total number. The number of candidates with the conditional pass, as released, is two hundred and eighteen (218) which makes up 3.73% of the overall number.

Those who failed have numbered up to nine hundred and sixty-five (965) which is 16.51% of the total number of participants. The number of candidates who had failed to be present for the examination is thirty (30) making up a meagre 0.51% of the participants.

Law School Grading Statistics

As announced, those who performed outstandingly are one hundred and sixty-one (161). These are the first-class candidates. They make up just 2.75%. The total number of second class upper candidates are six hundred and ninety-five which is approximately 11% of the number of participants.

Candidates whose grades fall in the second class lower category are one thousand two hundred and seventy-six (1276) and this is 21.83% of the number of those who participated in the examination.

And those who made it out with Pass are two thousand five hundred and one (2501) which comprises 42.78% of the entire participants. In percentage terms alone, the percentage of candidates with outright pass grades is 79.25%. Those with the conditional pass is 3.73% and failures constitute 16.51%.
