How to Sign in to UI admission Portal

  • Log in to the University of Ibadan Undergraduate portal www.portal.ui.edu.ng/cportal/gc
  • Input your Username which is your Jamb Registration Number in the space provided
  • Input your Password, which is your Surname
  • If you forgot your password, click the reset password link to reset the password
  • After signing in for the first time you will be prompted to change your password before proceeding.

How to Register for UI Post UTME

A screening fee of N2,000.00 will be paid through the admission portal in favor of the University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account). Your Full Name, JAMB Registration Number, Telephone Number, and E-mail address should be quoted at the point of payment.

After you have successfully paid, you should proceed on the portal to submit your bio-data, O’level results, and other credentials.

If you have successfully registered on the UI portal, then other activities on the platform are easy. It means that if you want to check  Post-JAMB result, UI change of course form, admission list, and payment of acceptance fees, you only need to log in to the portal with your username (JAMB registration number) and your password.

UI Admission Requirements

For you to be offered a place in UI must especially your desired course, you must understand that UI uses a combination of O’level results and Post UTME scores. Before you can be qualified to write UI Post UTME, you must score 200 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Having 5 SSCE credits at a sitting or 6 SSCE credits at two sittings has been one of the eligibility criteria to study at the University of Ibadan. However, there are some courses that required a sitting in SSCE.

Check UI Admission List on JAMB Portal

It is 100% recommended to confirm your admission on the school portal and JAMB portal. Take note that you can confirm your UI admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal using the guide provided below.

  • The first step is to visit jamb.org.ng/efacility.
  • When it loads up, proceed and login to your JAMB profile with your username and password.
  • Carefully search and locate the “Check Admission Status” tab, click on it.
  • Then you are to select your Exam Year and Type in your JAMB registration number in the blank box provided.
  • Lastly, simply click on the “Check Admission Status” to confirm your UI admission status.

  • Enter your username and password in the spaces provided
  • Click on “Sign In” and proceed to check your admission status.
